Raleigh, NC - Isaiah Todd, a five-star forward at Word of God Christian Academy, made his verbal commitment to Michigan on Thursday evening.
Juwan Howard landed his first five-star prospect at Michigan on Thursday night. Todd is well liked and respected among his peers. This could help the Wolverines attract other elite players to the program. During the press conference, Todd gave a message to the kids coming behind him “You guys are the future. Don’t let anybody ever tell you that you can’t. You can do anything you set your mind to do right now. Be a kid and have fun, love life, love your mom, and love your parents.”
Ms. Anesha Pittman, the principal of Word of God Christian Academy, said of Isaiah Todd, “He is the most humble person on the campus. He has embodied humility and has taught other students how to be humble.”
Todd played for the Nightrydas Elite grassroots program on the Nike EYBL circuit last spring and summer, averaging 17.9 points and 8.3 rebounds over the course of 16 games. He posted five double-doubles
